The Role

The Sales Manager at Goji is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth and managing the entire sales process. This individual will be directly involved in managing both inbound marketing-qualified leads and establishing robust outbound sales strategies. Working closely with the CEO and the marketing team, the Sales Manager will play a critical role in defining and executing the company’s growth strategy and ensuring that revenue-related KPIs are met.

You Bring

  • Proven track record in building a B2B sales organization
  • Strong experience with cold email campaigns and outreach
  • Strong experience with LinkedIn and Sales Manager campaigns and outreach (both set up and operation)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Hubspot CRM software and sales automation tools

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound marketing-qualified leads to determine if they are sales qualified, ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities.
  • Work directly with the CEO to prepare for sales meetings, strategizing on approaches and key talking points to maximize the effectiveness of each interaction.
  • Develop and implement outbound sales efforts to identify and engage potential new clients, expanding market reach and penetration.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and other in-person events, enhancing brand visibility and forging meaningful relationships with potential clients.
  • Oversee the company’s revenue-related KPIs, implementing strategies to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with broader marketing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive approach to market penetration and growth.
  • Build, lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance and support to optimize performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze market and competitor activity to adjust strategies and capitalize on market trends.
  • Foster strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention while also maximizing upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts for the executive team, providing insights into sales performance, market trends, and potential growth opportunities.

Key Objectives

  • Successfully convert a high percentage of marketing-qualified leads into sales-qualified leads and ultimately, closed deals.
  • Establish and grow outbound sales channels to diversify lead sources and increase the total number of leads and opportunities.
  • Achieve or surpass defined revenue-related KPIs, driving consistent growth in sales figures.
  • Elevate the company’s presence and reputation within the industry through effective representation at conferences and other events.
  • Ensure that the sales and marketing teams are fully aligned, collaborating effectively to support the company’s overall growth and strategic objectives.
